Eczema and complementary therapies
In some cases of eczema, complementary therapies, such as Chinese herbal medicine, have been found to be useful. Always discuss this with your doctor first, as some medicines you might be taking can interact with the herbs. Evening primrose oil has also been tried successfully; it contains essential fatty acids, which can improve atopic eczema in some instances, but it may take a few months before you notice any benefit.
