'Ask The Doc' online about prostates and sex

Want to ask a doctor a medical question in complete confidence online? Now you can.

Thanks to two pioneering new websites from the European Men's Health Forum, men across Europe have the chance to ask questions about their prostates and about sexual health matters such as erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation (PE).

The two sites are Your Prostate (4.7MB version) and Malehealth Questions (4.7MB version) which will deal with any aspects of ED and PE.

Both will enable you to have a consultation online in an anonymous setting with a highly qualified health professional. The MHF is a member of the EMHF and fully backs this initiative - in fact, at malehealth we were so impressed by the service we were happy to let them use the malehealth name.

MHF websites editor Jim Pollard added: 'these are among the topics we are most frequently asked about on malehealth. We know a lot of men would like to ask a doctor online about these subjects. The Ask the Doctor feature was very popular on malehealth until funding forced it to stop. Now, thanks to the EMHF, this facility is back. It won't last for ever so if you have a question on prostates, erection problems or premature ejaculation - and most men will have something to ask on at least one of these - now is your chance.'

MHF CEO Peter Baker called on British men to seize this opportunity. 'This is a chance to deal with whatever's concerning you about your prostate or about premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction and to have a genuine conversation online with a health professional through a genuinely independent site.'
