Stretching exercises you can do at your desk

  • Raise straight arms above head and back down to sides
  • Roll shoulders forward and back 
  • Link hands behind back of head and gently push elbows back (don't press against neck) 
  • Keeping neck straight gently incline ear down towards nearest shoulder and feel the stretch on the opposite side. Don't pull too hard. Do it on both sides. 
  • Leaning forward in chair, reach down to hold chair leg or legs, feel stretch in lower back. Don't force it.
